When words and rhythms fuse, the universal language of music is born.  Music with purpose can move the masses towards change.  The wait for spiritual and cultural enlightenment is over.  Bienvenidos, you are now entering the world of Malverde.  Malverde is greater than a name, more than a concept and not just a myth; it is a way of life, a way of being.

The inspiration and the wisdom I share with you is derived from a number of sources. Primarily, from the ancestral history passed on to me by my Grandfather, que en paz descance, with his timeless knowledge, his dichos and refranes (sayings and proverbs), his teachings of honor, respect, character, tradition and culture.  I have come to feed those who hunger for life and thirst for the meaning of Malverde.

My Grandfather’s words live on through me. "A man’s worth is not measured by his wealth, it is measured by the conviction of his word, his character, his respect for life.” Each man lives out his own personal legend.  That epic journey whose final destiny fate controls is forever engraved in the book of life. 

As a gift, I present to all this first volume of music, Mi Palabra.  May all those who choose to experience this first volume feed from it and nourish their hearts and minds.  It is my testament of the life I live, my testimony as I bare witness to the struggles of mankind and the vision of a brighter future.   

 My path is the same traveled by Malverde. The path of righteousness by any means necessary.  His profound impact on me provides the inspiration of my song.  It is his gift to you and I am the messenger he has chosen to deliver his words of hope, perseverance, and social change. 

It is part of my childhood memories, being wide eyed, listening intently, hanging on my grandfather’s every word.  He spoke greatly of Malverde and of his fight for justice, taking from the rich and providing for the poor and needy.  His cause was the cause of the people. 
 
Even in death Malverde continues to inspire and motivate through the life he led. With his history of goodwill and positive struggles, his Corrido (Legendary Tale) lives on.  It feeds the masses with food for the soul, and the knowledge that induces thought and ignites the fire within each of us.
